Standards followed :
ASTM D5865 , ISO 1928 , GB/T 213 , AS1038.5
1. The sample was crushed and ground to a particle size no larger than:
0.2 mm (National Standard GB)
0.212 mm (International Standard ISO)
0.25 mm (ASTM standard)
2. If the sample shows incomplete combustion, acid-washed asbestos should be placed inside the crucible.
3. If the sample is prone to splashing, it should be wrapped with lens paper before testing, and the heat added by the lens paper should be deducted from the test results.
Place the crucible on the balance, tare the balance, and accurately weigh 0.9~1.1g of the sample , nearest to 0.1mg. Add a specified amount of distilled water (ISO/ASTM 1ml, GB 10ml) to oxygen bomb, fix the ignition wire or ignition cotton thread, and close the oxygen bomb lid. Place the oxygen bomb into the calorimeter, input the sample weight , and the instrument will automatically complete the calorific value determination and result calculation.
